 Art is a lot about showing off, Doing face painting like this is how I like to show off.
 I get a big kick out of being with people
at the precise moment when they become so delighted.
I often look in wonder at the pictures I create and wonder
"Where did that come from?"
and I wish that I could see my work with your fresh eyes.

It gives me so much pleasure to be surrounded by crowds of delighted people.  I don't know anything else
I could do which would have such an impact, and cause so much genuine delight as doing face painting
for free in the sunshine at a street fair not far from where I live here in Portland.
