This page will detail opportunities for
volunteer services to get the
THIS I BELIEVE
project
For example, we have
about 160 cassette tapes, each with a complete
Sunday WHUUF Service. For this project we need volunteers to
-Listen to each tape
-Select one of the two This I Believe talks
-Transcribe each one separately onto a document which
can be read on a computer screen, or downloaded as a text file.
- From the original voice tape, we need a sound file which
can be loaded onto a web page
to be listened to or downloaded as speech.
- For each of the This I Believe presenters, we need to create a
brief biography - A photo,
Name, Date of the presentation, Age,
and one or two
details to bring a little more personality to the content.
-Also, for each of the (about 50) presenters who are selected to be featured on
book pages, we need to create an excerpt of their This I Believe talk.
The excerpt doesn't have to be of fixed size, but must reasonably fit
on to a book page.
